Photoshoot with members of Her Campus
I joined Her Campus as a freshman at OSU as a member of the editorial team. As a sophomore, I was asked to be an editor, and as a junior, I was elected as VP. I served for a semester, then was promoted to president.
In this role, I plan and lead weekly meetings, delegate tasks to the e-board, edit and schedule all of our articles, and communicate with Her Campus Media to make sure we are meeting all of our chapter requirements. I also work with Her Campus to bring our members gifting campaigns, 1824 Music Group invite members to press conferences, and bring in guest speakers.
Along with these responsibilities, I still write, edit, and publish at least two of my own articles each month.
As a member of Columbus Women's Writing Group, I lead the members under 30. I coordinate meetings where we workshop each others' work, participate in writing activities, and socialize with like-minded peers.

After two of my poems were accepted for publication in their debut issue, I joined the editorial team as a poetry reader. I help decide the order poems should be presented in, whether or not they should be accepted, and judge contests.
I took art lessons at ArtSpace before I was even technically old enough. Art was my passion, and at ArtSpace, I got to do it all--painting, drawing, ceramics, and more. As a sophomore in high school, I returned to the studio, this time, as the one teaching the classes. I plan my lessons, prep the classroom, make examples, and teach classrooms of students from ages four to 15.
The standard format is a Saturday class, but I've also done summer camps that run for four days in a row. One year, I worked with YMCA summer camps and brought supplies to schools to teach there.
After I graduated high school, I thought I would be ending my time at ArtSpace. But I missed art, I missed teaching, and I missed having the opportunity to make a positive impact on childrens' lives. So, I'm not done yet! This past summer, I did one class a month May-August.
